About Me
Dr. Emalee Knudsen is a board-certified Naturopathic Physician and Licensed Acupuncturist, trained at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Practicing since 2018 with dual expertise in Naturopathic Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, she offers a uniquely integrative, personalized approach that bridges the wisdom of Eastern traditions with the science of Western medicine.
Dr. Knudsen completed an intensive two-year medical residency under Dr. Ilana Gurevich, ND, LAc, where she gained advanced training in gastrointestinal health and primary care. Since then her practice centers around the microbiome, gut-brain axis, hormone balance, and metabolic health.
When she's not at the clinic, Dr. Knudsen can be found gardening, hiking, playing board games, and cooking. Dr. Knudsen lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and 3 children.
